Lacy Construction’s design-build approach combines design and construction under a single contract, giving you a streamlined, turn-key solution. Our integrated team of contractors, architects, and engineers works closely with you—or your architect if you have one—to align design, budget, and construction from day one. This collaborative process speeds up timelines, reduces risk, and maximizes value, while keeping communication clear and accountability focused. Competitive Bid

Every project is unique, and our approach is tailored to meet each client’s specific needs. We match the right delivery method and team of professionals to the project while maintaining our unwavering commitment to quality and safety. In a competitive bid, the client selects an architect or engineer to define the project in clear plans, specifications, and bid documents. The contractor is then chosen using one of three methods:

  • Hard Bid: The client advertises for bidders and typically awards the project to the lowest qualified bid.

  • Select Bid: A small group of contractors is invited to bid, often based on the architect/engineer’s recommendation, with the lowest qualified bid usually accepted.

  • Negotiated Bid: The client negotiates with one or more contractors and selects the team based on confidence, trust, and relationship.

We collaborate with your real estate professional—or recommend trusted brokers—to support relocation, expansion, or consolidation needs.
